For those of you willing to mess with the addon file... modify this line (line 387) in the "GPHelper.lua" to get offline members to automatically add (modification is in blue).
local guildMemberCount = GetNumGuildMembers(true);
For reference, information about this part of the addon API can be found on WoWWiki.

I have tried checking the box beside show offline members, and it still doesn't save the offline members, and I was wondering what program is used to make changes to a .lua file?

Hi kcacee,

Try downloading the latest version... it isn't labeled as such, but it has all the changes to work properly now, including ignoring the newest enchanting materials and emblems of valor & heroism.

Get the newest GPHelper

Hmm, I've got a new problem.

1. After running "/gph roster", exiting the game, and uploading the gphelper.lua file, the Control Panel page goes blank (the left frame still shows).  It used to say something along the lines of "file uploaded successfully" I think.

2. Refreshing the guild roster in the website reveals that the new members were not added.  I can see them in the file.

Thanks for the help, guys. I've resolved to just run this as a stand-alone, disabling all other addons when I do it for the updated roster. Then, when I go in to play, I disable GPH and run my usually mix o' stuff.

Worked for me. I'll have to manually update it once every few days, but that's tolerable.

I got it working by doing the following.  It looks like they changed the instructions on me...

  1. Run the command "/gph update".  It will tell you that it updated the roster successfully.
    1. Do not use "/gph roster", it does not respond and does nothing to the file.
  2. Exit the game.  The "gphelper.lua" file is written/updated.
  3. Edit the roster, upload the file.
  4. It will tell you that the file was uploaded successfully.
  5. Refresh the page and the new members are there.
